One thing that we did find in Lonny was that it has a bit of history. There are some gorgeous old buildings around the place and a couple being heritage listed.
One for example was the Old Umbrella Shop. This place is run by volunteering old dears who had been run off their feet the past two days selling no less than 26 umbrellas. They were beside themselves! I would have loved to have seen a display of all the old umbrellas from 1921-today, but all the umbrellas were closed down and behind a cabinet...... maybe it was a superstition thing?
There is not a HUGE amount of traffic in Tasmania, I mean, there are only about 550,000 people living on the whole of the island, so you wouldn't think that parking would be at a premium..... well not enough to want to drive a car this size.
